কণ্ডূয়নের স্বার্থ প্রতিষ্ঠার থেকে বহু ঊর্ধ্বে এইসব লেখালিখি। প্রিয় শিল্পীদের কাজ

ও যুক্তির সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ মিশ্রণে অতিরঞ্জন বর্জিত…

In this part of the collected works of Jogen Chowdhury, the author discussed about the artworks of eleven chosen artists ranging from his seniors to the contemporary ones, in an impartial and analytical manner. In the first volume of his collected works he cast his eye on his own concepts about art, and in the second volume, the perspective of life and artworks of his favourite artists became his matter of consideration. But here his friendship does not leave any impact. Those writings go much beyond the mutual nepotism laced with vested interest. Why did he at all like the works of his favourite artist–as if to establish clear logic to his own self he tried his hand in those writings. It should be mentioned, perhaps because of his intimate association with the mentioned artists those writings became immensely nostalgic yet  free from exaggeration due to proper synchronization of emotion and logic…
