শিল্পীর সারা বছরের রান্নাঘর এই স্কেচখাতা। ২০১৫ সালের রান্নাঘর, সনৎ করের। প্রায় সাত দশকের কাছাকাছি সময় ধরে ছবির সঙ্গে তাঁর বসবাস। অভিজ্ঞতা সূক্ষ্মতা দেয়, অতিরিক্তকে বর্জন করার শিক্ষা দিয়ে যায়। এই স্কেচখাতাটিতে আড়ম্বরহীন কলমের দ্রুত চলন একেকটি মুখ, অবয়ব, তাদের ভঙ্গিমার সাবলীল বিস্তৃতি ঘটায়। বিস্ময়ের আলোয় জেগে ওঠে সেইসব অভিব্যক্তিরা। ঠিক এই বছরেই দেবভাষা থেকে শিল্পীর জন্মদিনকে উদযাপনের জন্য একটি প্রদর্শনীর আয়োজন করা হয়। সমস্ত ছবি ছিল ২০১৫ সালের আঁকা। তাই অবিকল প্রকাশের জন্য স্কেচখাতাটিকে বেছে নেওয়া হয়েছিল ওই একই বছরের।

This sketchbook serves as the kitchen of the artist. The kitchen dating 2015, belonged to Sanat Kar. He dwelled with his paintings nearly for seven decades. Experiences bring about subtlety and refinement, teach one to discard whatever seems excess. In this sketchbook the non-ostentatious, rapid movement of the pen spontaneously develops different faces and countenances and their gestures and postures. Their expressions get evoked by a wonderful radiance. To celebrate the birthday of the artist an exhibition was organised by Debovasha in this very year. All the paintings were done in 2015. To produce an identical copy of the original sketchbook, the sketchbook of the year of 2015 was selected.
