Description
An exhibition was organised in Debovasha showcasing a single painting. And this book has taken its shape cantering around that single painting [Paharadar (The Guard) named by Rabindranath]. Although the book is not a voluminous one, a significant history of the art of India as well as Bengal flows throughout its pages. Along with the painting of Rabindranath, a major poet of Bengali language and the pioneer of modernism in Indian painting, this book continues its journey with the exchange of feelings between two artists namely, Rabindranath and Atul Bose, as penned boy Atul Bose himself. Besides, R. Sivakumar, Sushobhan Adhikary and Sanjit Basu also contributed to its content.
