We have recently lost the eminent artist Sanat Kar (1932-2023). But his artworks created throughout his long life for the connoisseurs are with us. His artwork is a real innovation in the world of graphics. On 16 January 2023, Monday, one Exhibition room of Debovasha (70/2 Selimpur Road, Kolkata 700031) will open in honour to his notable works in different mediums entitled ‘Oh Solitude!’ whereas in other room there will be another Exhibition named ‘Prints and Prints’ of 16 renowned Indian graphics artists who are senior, contemporary, young and students of Sanat Kar. Both these Exhibitions are dedicated to this pioneer artist of graphics.
