If Jibanananda Das is considered to have picturesque quality of his poems, then Ganesh Haloi composes poetry through his paintings. The way he delves deep into nature through his keen observation that enables the art lovers to get a glimpse of emotion and rhythm of the world around. The heritage and tradition of the world of Ajanta that he carries forward through his artistic exuberance drives him to a unique language of painting and this uniqueness further added an essence of novelty to the world of Indian painting. The way he determines his own approach towards art with the conviction of a philosopher will let the art lovers experience a wonder. His intensive research with medium and method may itself be considered as an art curriculum. In 2017, he himself inaugurated Debovasha, abode of book and art, and since then the abode continues its journey under his guiding influence. A number of his solo exhibitions will always remain as jewels to Debovasha. Similarly, his various sketchbooks, autobiography and books of poems will be considered as golden treasure of our publication division.
