In the sphere of the Bengali poetry, the name of Tushar Chowdhury connotes such a land which resonates with a creative rhythm and is prolific as well. Needless to say, that he was one of the prime poets of the poetic universe of seventies. He internalized the heritage and tradition of Bengali poetry and simultaneously, successfully translated the poems of occident.
