Description
Having been cordially welcomed at the doorstep of the West, this poet from Asia often received satirical glances blended with wonder. Although most of those news did not reach our ears, we rather got more informed about his felicitous reception. But many of the foreign magazines were found to have engaged in playful teasing about him. Some did not leave the chance to make fun of his attires or his long curls and beard. Some of the photographs of the selected cartoons as well as the anecdotes related to them have been published in this book.
