Animals

Alay Ghoshal paints and his endeavour seldom takes any pause. It is to be noticed that the subjects of his works contain variety. He proceeds from one direction to another. Throughout his journey the imageries of cat and owl recur over and over again. Alay emblazons those imageries with the hues of his palette. It demands more of our time to interpret whether his paintings narrate some stories or do they tend to create a language of their own through visual aesthetics. Now, an exhibition named ‘Animals’ consisting of a boquet of his recent works would orchestrate a concerto of animal life through colours, strokes, expression and movement that may open up a newer perspective for the art lovers because of their nuancesĀ andĀ undertones.
